Health & Wholeness

As Jesus came to heal the brokenhearted, bind up wounds, release the oppressed, proclaim freedom for the prisoner, so do we, his friends. CRUMC offers the following ministries for those seeking healing whether in body or spirit:

Health Care Ministry-                                                                                                                    For those going through treatment or illness (within the church or greater community), this team provides rides, meals, and encouragement. This ministry is sponsored by Baptist Health Care who helps providing training and education. Baptist also helps CRUMC provide health care education and prevention such as health fairs, blood pressure screening, nutrition, and support groups for a variety of concerns. Contact the church office (305-235-6651) for a referral for one of our trained caregivers.

Bereavement-                                                                                                                              During time of loss and grief, many people find comfort in faith and in a supportive group of peers who are going through a similiar experience. Through our Health Ministry and Baptist Health Systems, CRUMC has a trained bereavment facilitor to walk with you. If you need someone to talk to about your grief, call the office for the Pastor or a referral to our support team.

ALANON-                                                                                                                                       Friends and loved ones of Alcoholics and other addicts can find support at this support group. This group is open to the community and meets Tuesday nights, 7pm, in Rudy Chapel Hall on the south end of our property.
